The Vaimanika Shastra was revealed in the twentieth century to Sri.Subbaraya Sastry and was translated into English by G.R.Joseyar.
There are four variants of the original.

The Technolgy was tested and the spaceship was flown at a height of 1500 feet by Shivakar Bapuji Talpade.
